Hurts like bloody hell. Anytime you put something into the cervic it hurts, then scraping the uterus is horrible. Better to get a D&C because your get a general and are totally knocked out because it is much too painful to do on a woman while she's awake. Don't opt for this procedure at all!

I had one of those in my gyn's office. IT HURT LIKE HELL! I didn't get a sedative - she just told me she was going to do it. Afterward she handed me a sanitary napkin and said, "You're going to need this." Gee, I guess so, there was blood all over the table. Sorry to be so negative, but this was NOT a painless procedure.

I had this done yesterday as well. and I was told to take an Advil 1 hour before going in, which I forgot, but I don't think that it would've helped because it hurt like a BITCH! ( excuse my expression). now I know why. Thank God the gynecologist was very understanding, eventhough he would never have to experience this pain. I am still feeling it. Advil isn't kicking in. Anyone know what else I could do. Sitting up is uncomfortable, but unfortunatly I have to for work ( I might leave early..ugh)

There is no such thing as bad cholesterol as stated by misanthropy. Cholesterol is bad if they oxidize with other molecules like Ca and lodging in the vessels then macrophages start engulfing it to dispose of it. Cholesterol is needed for almost everything in the body, including cell membrane, brain cells, hormones, and much more. Cholesterol is the building blocks of the body. The body is dependent on Cholesterol. Tryglycerides are fat that your body can use for energy.

I likes the video up to the point they mentioned remember to take your medicine. According to the New England Journal of medicine, about 50% of heart attack victims have normal cholesterol. Their is no evidence that a blood test showing high cholesterol means it will turn into to plaque. That is primarily your genes. Although many anti statins lower readings, there is no evidence to support they help in plaque prevention. Eating well, omega3's, vitamin C, low dose aspirin and exercise. Thats it

no buddy! I did it.... Just get your G.E. courses out of the way and then transfer 2 a University. U can declare your major at a 2year college and then go on 2 the college that best fits you. If your Pre-med like I was then tell the counselor that you want to be and he or she will give u the courses you need 2 take and tell u the GPA u must have 2 transfer and how many unit course hrs u need 2 transfer 2 a university. I did it and Im in the army and got a wife and 2 year old. You'll be fine.
